With over 10 years of combined experience working in Raja Ampat Wendy and Iris are ready to share the best parts of what they have learnt over the years with you!

 

Iris's photography has been published in NatGeo Magazine and she has been managing NGOs for several years in Raja Ampat and Wendy has been working for organisations like Greenpeace and Oceanographic Magazine, as well as managing dive operations and liveaboards across Raja Ampat and Indonesia. Alongside venturing across the Indonesian archipelago, sailing countless nautical miles, spending thousands of hours underwater diving and endless days in remote communities sharing a coffee and working on their language skills. Together, they share extensive knowledge and passion for this exceptional part of the world.

 

Fascinated by the abundance of species that flash before your eyes here in Raja Ampat, both Iris and Wendy share a deep connection to the underwater world and cherish any opportunity to spend time above and below the water in Raja Ampat. Amazed by the large megafauna that passes in the high flow currents and carried away to another universe by the abundance of macro critters to geek out on. It's fair to say they are consumed by everything the Four Kings has to offer.

 

Joining this trip will mean spending many hours underwater as well as time on land experiencing local culture and traditions, all whilst traveling on a traditional Indonesian phinisi and making long lasting friendships.

 

We will be sharing workshops on underwater photography, Indonesian language, and conservation-based marine biology - passing on what we feel most passionate about!

 

10 days of world-class diving and exceptional cultural experiences, while cruising through the incredible islands of Raja Ampat - West Papua.
